Bunion Surgery (Hallux Valgus) in Turkey

A bunion (hallux valgus) is a painful bony prominence at the base of the big toe, caused by the metatarsal deviating inward. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Aydın corrects bunions with a Scarf and/or Akin osteotomy — fixed with 2 titanium mini screws with no plaster cast — allowing you to walk in a special shoe the day after surgery.
