The Procedure
Spinal anaesthesia. Camera introduced through anteromedial portal — full joint survey of all three compartments. Meniscus repair or trimming, cartilage shaving or microfracture, plica resection or loose body removal through the anterolateral portal.
Recovery & Return Home
Walk same day (trimming/plica). Crutches 1–2 weeks. Return to sport at 6–8 weeks (trimming) or 3–4 months (repair or microfracture). UK physiotherapy programme provided.
